After breakfast today the man from the local fencing came to look st the job of putting in my fence and gates across the front.
I should get a phone call with a quote, hopefully tomorrow.
I gave the studio brief sort out today , mopped the floor, put the six foot long table with folding legs out there. (This usually was used at craft fairs and village carnivals)
it only just fits....but at least the stove isn't lit yet!!
Then it turned wet and cold, which is no incentive to stay there!!
I spent a lot of today watching track racing. Do I miss it...yes, in some ways. It would take a massive amount of work to get back to it I think. I think getting back to riding my bike regularly will be enough!
That will build energy for furthering my art career. Which is hard work building back up alone.
So, early night tonight...while the wind whistles through cracks and roars around the house!!

Seems chilly not to have the heat on!! You’ll be tough for winter!

Stay warm and cozy inside!
Grey and wet here, but I promised myself after this hot, hot, dry summer I would never complain about rain again (even in the depths of winter).
Onwards and upwards with your potting and lovely cards. Cats always sell . . .
Ivy - late season food for bees (but it makes honey that sets solid in the comb. It's really hard work getting back into cycling after a year or two out.
That is interesting about the honey.
Hedera helix,..source of Autumn snottiness, thanks to the pollen!
Last time I was doing less cycling, Pirate brought me back into it, now. I've got to do it alone
The joys of being on the ocean side of an offshore Island to a large continent!! Temperatures yo-yo up and down with the wind...
((o))
I can understand wanting to ride more for pleasure than to race. Investing your energy in your art seems like a good path for personal growth! Our ivy has lots of buds as well.
At this point in my life, I know that I do not have the energy to do everything, so I choose to do the things that bring me joy and contentment, things that enrich my life. I keep busy. It is enough.
