The Pirate (and me!) helped a friend put up A Shed!!!

On the way home we rode up Mount View Road......and saw the marker for number 53...

then we noticed the view.....Mount Ruapeho has been hiding in the clouds or haze every other time we've been up this road!!

So that is why the road is so named!!

gz said...: Jenny, we do ride 0.73 km up the hill from river level to go home!! (to number 73...I like the NZ way of numbering houses!!)
I think Ruapeho is at least 75 km away..could be that is why it was hazy..that and the heat (28 C at that time); 27 February 2013 at 21:55
