There is a front garden!!

 Under all those brambles!!

The other side there is an ex Holly hedge, now very overgrown.

Pirate had good exercise wielding an axe and bow saw to clear some hazel and ivy from the gateway.

Looking good! Brambles will quickly get out of control. I feel like I'm constantly cutting ours back. But I keep some for berries!

Gosh you have a job on your hands there - good luck with it - so far it looks very impressive.

I demolished an ivy hedge and regretted it, I found old robin nests in there and discovered it was also the home of a lot of woodland moths, I just planted some ivy to try and resurrect it!

Gardens are never finished, never safe. But oh, they are so alive.
