Uncle

We spent the day with my uncle and his dog travelling in his camper van (envy!!!)

Lunch in the Coo Shed, a trip up to see Pirate's seat... unfortunately with added cleggs...

The camera angle makes my spare tyre look even worse...

Then a walk in the woods with a cool off swim for Bert the dog.

I have seen hands like that before...my Dad's. ❤️

That looked like a very pleasant day in the sun (barring the cleggs!) Van life... sigh... soon to be mine! YAM xx

I looked up "cleggs"--is it horse flies? (nasty)
It's hot here--I would love to a cool-off swim like Bert the dog's
--looks luscious!

Nice to see your father's hands...

Oh dear me yes. When we collected my aunt to drive her to Dad's funeral I sat with her on the back seat. As I chatted with her it was just like looking into Dad's eyes.

It's the first time I have heard them called Cleggs since my dear farmer died. A rose by any other name methinks. Lovely photos and I love the look of Bert.

Fresca I checked clegg...hmm...it didn't look like a horsefly, it was large and black...almost like a giant mosquito...

I'm not sure what a "clegg" is (but I see from the comments above it's some kind of nasty insect) but otherwise looks like a good outing!

Great looking tour with stream and trees and a special bench (if only no cleggs!)

Oh I think Pirate appreciated that visit, even if it was unexpected.

Hope Bert got to have a cooling down swim.
