Waiting

A low key day, just waiting for tomorrow. It has rained most of the day and been quite dark.

I took photos just now of the garden,  back....

The swallow still on the line..

And the front..

I must get some yellow rattle growing there to dissuade the grass and give all the other plants a chance.

On the Meadow side of the front garden, there is no moss....only where it is kept as lawn...

I see your orchids popping up through the grass! I guess they've adapted to survive in grassy areas...

They are there all by themselves Steve, since we started treating it as Meadow.
We are starting to get other wild flowers too, and different grasses.
I need to get some Yellow Rattle in there which parasitises grass, to subdue the grass and let other things grow
