Marmalade

 First batch made yesterday..

Ten pounds made with three pounds of Seville oranges.

I have three more pounds...I'm considering a batch of Cranberry and Orange...that was tasty last time...and maybe save some to go with a batch of Blood Oranges to help the setting.  I haven't seen Blood Oranges in the shops yet...but they should be available soon.

They make a colourful and fragrant marmalade.

A healthy store cupboard...and enough for gifts as well.

Very resourceful and a great gift.

That looks wonderful.
I have just returned home from Seville where the oranges were dropping from the trees onto the pavement!

Lovely! I haven't made marmalade for a very long time. Cranberry and orange sounds very good.

...I can jams and jellies, but never marmalade.

I'm happily eating two versions of marmalade (not home made) which are now my favorite sweets on toast. (Used to be grape jelly).

I love marmalade. Every morning on toast, for breakfast.

That all sounds good.

Looks like good stuff. Good for you to make your own marmalade.

Yum! It looks much better than store-bought, that's for sure.

I never use to like it, these days I don't mind the taste.
