First walk today, just before lunch.
The second, late afternoon was even shorter...
As the rain came in again.
But it isn't about quantity now..after exactly a year back here of little exercise and much disruption, we must both set our pattern again to regain health.

I cannot believe how much rain the British Isles has had dumped on them this Winter/Spring. I dread to see what state our house will be in when we get back.
Dandelions are a hardy bunch so they show up early.
...spring can sneak up on us.
((0)) when I see dandelions I know Spring is sprung as the bees will be out looking for nectar and dandelions are pretty much the first thing they feed on :) (Betty, elderberry-rob.blogspot.com)
I don't think I have seen a dandelion yet...must have a look on the dog walk this morning. Hooray, it's not raining !
We made dandelion wine one year. That was when we had a private army of pickers (children). It was delicious.
I remember as a child some hippie magazine Mum bought had dandelion coffee in it. I think that our dandelions may differ from yours and the resultant harvest required for the roots came up rather short. Mum suggested that we substitute carrots. It was exactly as disappointing an experience as it sounds.
As the weather becomes more reliable and warmer, hiking/walking is always greatly enjoyed. The sights and sounds of Spring are starting to show. It is a very nice time of the year.
