Morning sun!! But not exactly weather to put clothes on the line!!
The dehumidifier has been working well today!
By lunchtime the clouds had lifted a little so I ventured outside
Wave to the neighbours, then I found a tree full of sparrows!!Busy starlings
And busy cat.."who are you looking at????"
Then just before 6, my phonecall!! He had forgotten that I no longer have a landline and had been trying that....so his festive cooking done sons gone out he could have a phone call in peace!
Good to catch up with an old friend and hear their voice even if you are still far away.
Then a quick supper , a quick check on blogs....and there are new blocks to carve...

Happy Christmas. That actually sounds like a day that I would love.
A touch of blue sky on a heavy winter’s day always seems to lift your spirits a fraction. It lets us know - someone is seeing the light somewhere
Happy Christmas
Merry Christmas, Gwynneth. It sounds like a good day.
Your business cards look great! I particularly like the turtle.
A lovely peaceful day Nothing wrong with that at all
A quiet day for you. I was hoping you wouldn't be alone for this first Christmas. I was glad to have my girls here to lift my sadness. Love your lino cut designs.
I am planning to get a walk in today, to clear my nose a bit.
I was glad not to have the bustle of Christmas...and I did have quite a few messages later
Sounds like a peaceful day for you. A sun really helps in this darkest time of the. year.
A bit of open blue sky is always welcome. Your art is looking good. Your focus on wildlife and nature is wonderful.
