Yesterday sort of disappeared, doing all those bitty jobs..
This was the final version of this year's card...they won't all arrive for Xmas, but it will be contact maintained..
It was good to start the day with some blue sky...and it did improve, nicely sunny with a bitter wind....the foretaste of this weekend?
And this morning...it was Friday... somehow although I've kept track of the numbers, the days left me behind!! This morning's job has been making the living room a welcoming place...things have been sorted so that each variety of Stuff isn't here and there...
Which is a great improvement...but I've reached the point where every surface is covered...so it is coffee and toast time then the last push..even if it all goes in a tray To Be Sorted this weekend as if the forecast is correct, I won't be going anywhere!!
Recycling collection missed...but not much to collect so that can wait.
Thankfully no appointments missed..as I checked straight away!
And if the weather doesn't turn pear shaped early (80 mph gusts forecast for Saturday) I can go out tonight to see friends.

I love your Christmas card! Did you do two blocks, one green and then the white on top? It’s charming and effective. I only printed a few handmade cards, mostly I sent commercial ones, but I won’t do that again – – in this age of social media, when I see most contacts online, those don’t seem worth sending. (And of course it was always far nicer to get handmade ones anyway.)
One block using a green stamp pad for the ink...then silver gel pen for the "snow" and gold gel pen for the few baubles/cones
That's a beautiful card design - well done. Like you, I lose track of the name of the day (regularly), but at least the computer tells me the actual date! I am quite organized this year, even with the making of presents which involved many hours sewing/hand-stitching.
Lovely, nicely designed card. Beautiful lines. White with silver and gold shows well. The simplicity is outstanding.
Cold combined with wind says...winter is here today.

Lovely cards and extra special for being personal. As for sorting out the living space, it's a satisfyinb thing when one has time and motivation but it ca also present itself as yet another chore (depending on what more interesting things there are to do - like card making, or getting outdoors).
80 mph gusts! That's a bit frightening.
Quit often I have to check the calendar very carefully as I have missed a day.
Very industrious! Gorgeous cards. We have a box that gets ignored each year - maybe next year I will be organised?
