Hi gz, thanks for stopping by! I agree that the "Where We're From" writing exercise brings out amazing essays---Maybe you'd like to try yourself? Let me know if you do. I find each one fascinating, no matter how many others I've read....

I'm exhausted from reading about your cycling tour---the stuff my husband's dreams are made of!

Nice one...except looks like you can't do much of anything in the park!

Hi Molly- I'll consider writing where I'm from-as I'm getting more comfortable with myself and learning my worth. But not yet!!

Kerry, there are also flower gardens and a natural amphitheatre...but yes, it looks as if the only thing you can do is find the toilets!!

Very disciplined - quite British-in-the-Old-Days!
Beautiful carving which is not British at all.

Beautiful! So nice to see green and unfrozen water! What a journey you are having! Love reading your blog over my morning coffee and watching the snow fly :)

I look at your blog almost every day but never quite know what to comment - NZ looks amazing though. But I thought you were moving to Scotland? I've obviously lost the plot somewhere.

You haven't lost the plot...we'll be back in Scotland near the end of April...but I'm getting my health and fitness back here

Have been to Wanganui but not the park - it looks fantastic.

Don't know if you have been to Sandy Bay before - yesterday I posted photos of it and the beaches around it.
