Victoria Court appears to be similar to the old arcades in Cleveland. A hallway runs the lenght of the block; the buildings are two or three stories high and there are shops all along the length. One at least was designed by a renouned architect of the time, the late eighteen hundreds.

I think that this area of Whanganui was built between 1850 and 1930
