Heading Inland

We left Blenheim in sunshine this morning and headed up the Wairau Valley.
Lunch was by Lake Rotoiti as it started raining. We left At Arnaud and travelled through sunshine and showers to Murchison for coffee and a wander around Dust and Rust..a fascinating mine of antiques and collectibles..and usables!
As we headed towards the Lewis Pass the mountain weather really came down...sbowers with rain in between!!

Apologies for the jumbled pictures and less than descriptive writing...I'm not getting on with the tablet as well as I'd hoped!!
Hanmer Springs is very wet! And very touristy..but after 350 km we were glad to stop.
