a bitty week

Doing a bit of this and a bit of that..not being able to get down and finish anything properly.
So much done but  feeling dissatisfied!

We returned to Penrith yesterday for Potfest in the Pens, in the cattle mart..nearly 200 stalls, mostly different from last weekend. This one is half the cost to rent a stall for the three days, only (!) £200 and is not juried, just first come first booked. All sorts of work, all different standards, just the same enthusiasm...and packed with people,so taking photos was out of the question!

I talked to a kiln company from Lancashire, and hopefully they'll be able to make sense of what I need for the first flue section.Hopefully I'll be able to afford it too....

We're still gardening for people, as it pays for trips..but we're getting near the balance of needing the energy and time for working in our own garden and workshops.
Still, it does have its bonuses.
An Elephant Hawkmoth caterpillar...
