remembering

Would have been my father's 89th birthday today..
This was his British League of Racing Cyclists racing licence.

he loved gardening as well as cycling...and we are cracking on with more garden work and shed sorting.
                                                    Strawberries making next year's plants
polytunnel filling up..I need a potting shed as well...but that has our road bikes in it!
runner beans not going very fast this year
 getting bushes out of pots

still swallows left...the parent on the left will depart before the offspring on the right
and we visited the garden centre....not our car, by the way!

My garden has just suddenly gone crazy. Everything is now growing so fast. I just hope it's productive as well!

I LOVE the photo of your father!
Spooky though--
that Police Interference tag is much like the fliers of advice to immigrants we are seeing here in the US:
"If ICE comes to your door, do not open, say nothing," etc.
