gardening weather?

the polytunnel is filling up..and these beans will be trained up string inside
 the first carrot!!
house plants in their summer home

unfortunately we have an open trench by the path...Pirate has put an edgein...unfortunately bending and digging resulted in a bloodshot eye....so work has been suspended as the path is His project in the garden!
we had sun yesterday, so  a friend called by and they sorted the problem with another friend's generator...

 'Olly'ocks!!
We have had rain for the past 18 hours...I've been baling out the water filled trench by the polytunnel path to fill the water butts  and watering cans...the water table is so high , that there is no need to water the lower bed in the polytunnel....

Glad your poly tunnel is helping with gardening...wonder why you don't call it the "green house."

We've had quite a bit of rain here too. This afternoon it was really coming down. That carrot has a ways to go! Ha! Love the hollyhocks. Always a crowd-pleaser.

Wow! 18 hours of rain. Our monsoon has been woefully dry so far this year.

How exciting to get things ready for the garden and I'm loving your flowers. Sorry about the eye problem, I pray it is healed soon.
We have had rain, rain, rain, too. But my soaked garden still has an assortment of early spring colors popping up!

Barbara, greenhouse seems to be reserved for glass houses...but "glass house" is for large greenhouses....!!

One of my rain barrels collapsed, so the week's water was wasted.
