Garden progress

The replacement polytunnel is up....and working.
We have far too many plantpots, so these will go out the front with a Help Yourself sign

I will have to reduce them further, but this is a good start.

The garden is looking tidier at last, incentive to get on with growing! Tomorrow I will get on with sowing seeds for salad crops, and some tall growing peas.
With the polytunnel up that won't be stopped by any rain.
Further South from us in Wales it has been raining and we might get some tomorrow.  The garden could do with some rain. We transferred water from the waterbutts fed from rainfall to the others and all the watering cans in readiness...just in case!

Looking good :) we could do with some rain too, we had it promised (in a decent swath) but it did nothing more than spit for about five minutes and then spent the rest of the afternoon being overcast and cold. Sunday is promising warmer weather xx

The polytunnel is just lovely.

I like your brick pattern. Here's to a good, soaking rain.

Getting things tidied is always a good feeling.

that's a decent polytunnel. I managed to get a few growbags and compost delivered by a local garden centre, our garden is tiny but I think we can grow some salad veg.

It isn't the strongest of tunnels..I think we will take it down before the autumn and winter storms! I think it is designed as a summer tomato shelter..but does a decent job. A proper polytunnel made with horticultural grade polythene costs three times as much!!...and has more than a year's guarantee 😎
I am not complaining, and it is a great help...we just need to learn how to treat it properly.

We have too many plastic plant pots too. A common problem, I suspect. We got a little rain yesterday but Dave still watered today.
