I'm impatiently waiting for my sweet peas to germinate. I usually cheat and just buy plants but am not sure I'll find them this year. I think I've left it very late, though, alas.
Seeds are wonderful, optimistic little things, that carry around happy thoughts for the future! Very nice to be planting them and watching the seedlings pop up. I planted broad beans a few days ago and some kale and other winter greens. Love to you and the Pirate from us in NZ :-) P&L xx
I'm waiting to see whether our hollyhock seedlings from last year flower later this summer. I hope so! They're all in the garden but they look really small...

I sowed 12 mini cabbage and only one has appeared.
That isn't a good germination rate Susan...but sometimes they do take longer than expected
