My birds were up and blasting away at 4:30 am this morning too! They must be thinking 14.5 hours of daylight isn't enough! But you've got dawn happening already!
the birds are singing at 4.30am here too (Cambridgeshire), even though further south than you! they are lovely but I can't get up at 4.30 and make it through the day , so ear plugs are my friend...

Barb it could be to do with how far North we are relative to each other
I actually dread June, when the sun rises so early. It always interferes with my sleep. :/
Obviously, getting darker here now and still pitch black at 4.00 a.m. Lovely sunrise.
