More snow

I am thinking of a new local print...although the best viewpoint would probably be from twenty foot up in the air!  Artistic licence will have to be used......

Printing is not going so well..fine line cuts are not showing....I had thought to use water based ink to get some cards out quickly....back to oil based ink and waiting for it to dry!

And then just as we thought Spring was here...it snows..

More snow on the hills by this morning, frosty grass and all the birds' drinking water frozen..but bright sun so there is hope of a bike ride later.

I just want to get on with everything, but at the moment both gardening and art feel like one step forward two steps back....

Down here in Middle England we had snow during the evening and overnight. The local hills are looking very Alpine with snow against a blue sky. I can see people up there with snow equipment as well as bikes. Just waiting for the paragliders now!

But isn't that always gardening at this time of the year? I hear on the forecast today that there is no rain in the forecast for the next week - my gardening and lawn are desperate.

I understand, but keep on putting that one step forward...even little steps can give a new perspective. Keep on keeping on!

I agree. Our garden is in a holding pattern -- I think everything is on "pause"!

All art is back and forward as you know - there is no 'fixed wheel' equivalent to creating. I hope you get to 2 forward 1 back soon.

Similar thoughts here, one step forward and two steps back, lots of seeds sown and ground ready then snow. A fair bit of snow and so cold..... hopefully everything can hold on in the glasshouse and window ledges!
