To Wales! Packing took longer than expected...the car is now rather full!
We had a hot journey to our next stop, but thankfully uneventful despite a few instances of bad driving ...people are driving too fast and without care.
We haven't seen our grandkids for two years, so they are changing fast! One here is just 14, the other 4½.
We aren't doing anything specific, just getting back to being family.
Yesterday we had an outing to the beach!
We chose the dog beach...as youngest and family have a dog...and it wasn't busy while we were there. Then we went two miles along the coast as the children fancied funfair rides, and we walked the dog and indulged ourselves with an ice-cream!
We all decided that it was getting too busy and the traffic was building up, so it was time to go home. We almost missed the rush hour traffic so not a bad call.
Home in time for a quick supper to be made and an early night for all after that sea air and sun!!
It is concerning to see people behaving as if nothing had happened over the past year or so....none of us is keen on crowded places, fortunately...the seaside wasn't that crowded as it was midweek, even allowing for half-term holiday here. I don't think we will be back on a hot weekend.
Catching up with friends today and thinking of a flatter route for a bike ride...not easy around here!!

Everywhere is very busy this week - not surprised that cases are rising. Funnily enough, just as you come back to Wales I have travelled back north - perhaps we passed on the motorway!!
You are so right about people behaving as if the past couple of years didn't happen. But since I am not in charge of them, I can only be in charge of myself.
