Walking and riding

We caught the best of the day again!

A walk around Hannahston before breakfast, then a ride over to Dalrymple to post an ebay sale.

We met a fellow cyclist there, who had started from Cornwall a fortnight or more ago...wild camping mainly, heading north but via interesting and quieter bits of countryside.

He is amazed at how much more daylight we get up here..he will be even more surprised when he reaches the top of the Western Isles!!

At least he has a tailwind...and this afternoon the wind is blowing  hard.  When it eases we are due rain tomorrow......but the garden needs it....and I did all the washing and drying today!!

You saw me....
I'm off!!

The sky at front and back tonight...and the temperature is dropping again too, only just in double figures tomorrow.

Wind is perfect for drying washing, send it here, we've had endless rain.

We're getting some rainy days here as well, starting tonight.

Is there really a place called Dalrymple? Great name for a town.

We are desperate for rain here in the gardens of North Yorkshire.
