Back to winter?

It has gone back to cold wet windy and grey.

This is the "meadow patch" in front of our home.  Not a lot happening yet...apart from the flowering currant which has been flowering for a while.

MRI went well today, but the parking was a nightmare. All rammed full, narrow lanes between the parking space rows, cars parked in every corner, people driving the wrong way..I was gazumped for a space twice in the half hour I was crawling the car around to find a space!!  If we had gone by bus it would have been a three bus trip to Crosshouse, outside Kilmarnock....and he isn't feeling well enough for bus travel.

Then pirate realised that he had made a cardinal mistake....do not turn your phone off AND leave it in the car......even with our obvious car he was walking around for nearly twenty minutes until he found the car!!

Now we have at least two weeks wait for the results, and hope that two other sets of results arrive as well.  Apparently the path labs are working flat out......

The waiting game is never that much fun. Nor is this return to winter - got the heat pack and rugs on again! YAM xx

Treatment seems to be a bigger challenge every year.

Good wishes for lab results...hope they are more efficient with an overload than the parking lots. (er, car parks). I've bundled up today and most nights lately, but tomorrow they say 75 and sunshine. Wish my tender eyes could take it, but I will open windows. Eyes will wait for another sunshine!

There is nothing to do except extend Pirate my best wishes that all will go well. If it's of solace, we have a week on winter in our forecast, too.

Waiting for results is so draining. Sometimes it's worse if they come back quicker.

Sending all my very best wishes for a positive outcome.
Waiting is the worst.
Toes crossed that the weather improves.

Hugs to both xx
My Dad had to have an aorta scan at the time post lockdown when only the patient could go into the hospital. So he set off, leaving his cell phone and my mother in the car.
I received a frantic call from her saying she'd 'lost Dad' - and she was so distraught I thought he'd died!
No - she could not find him and every time she rang (which she did several times apparently) the cell phone just rang in the boot....
He eventually landed, said the waiting room had been packed but a bit later he then admitted he'd lost the car and took a long time to get back....

Sending all the good vibes I can muster for Pirate. The mercury here is climbing into the 80's (26 to 30 C.) this weekend. It's about time to turn on the air conditioner. :(
