Easy day

Sunday's racing was good...they had four day's racing and no crashes, as well!

El Presidente and our team mates.

Pirate's sponsor on the left..he sponsors the team and finds a little time to ride as well.

And Number one son (AKA The Oily One as he fixes cars as a hobby/sideline!) came to see us.

A friend's granddaughter taking photos of mum on the podium!

Today after some drive weeding (brother is not an avid gardener!) I went with him to Barrington Pottery..he had some plates from them a while back, now he is ordering some Breton style Cider Cups..like teacups but mug size....

And the café/ reception building for Barrington House was getting a new thatch.

There are several workshops and a second hand bookshop in old outbuildings

Oh! A secondhand bookshop, did you say? Oh! (comment from a former book dealer)

Barrington House and all the activities there look great. Good that you are getting a break.

Cat, my second string job was working in bookshops, new and secondhand...we only came out with no book as she shut early....

The velodrome photos bring back memories. I loved the track but was never much good at it. My son, on the other hand, was a multiple times junior champion... the years I spent by those boards, stopwatch in hand. Happy times!

I wonder if your son was a contemporary of one of mine on the boards, bike shed!!

I've never seen cider cups but I do like the happy smiles.

Pirate always looks as if he's having the time of his life, no matter what he's doing. I really love the way those pots are arranged on the door. That's a nifty idea!
