Bike!

Yesterday was good....no work done....just down to the usual parking spot in Prestwick and a ride up to Irvine Harbour

Mainly on a shared path.

Arran is over there through the haar....

Then as soon as I arrived, turn back as it was rammed with mainly younger folk heading for the beach!!

Crowds are not my thing.

40km/25 miles, only spoiled by the effects of tree roots growing under the tarmac in some stretches making it rough...and in dappled shade you can't see the raised parts...

Luckily you didn't hit a root and get knocked over!

Lovely!! Play days are so essential to well-being! And “working” on your physical well-being is never misspent time, is it?

In between cleaning yesterday I went for a walk with my younger brother and decided on a route that I thought would be quiet but it was full of people enjoying the sunshine and the coast.

The views of the sea and salty air are always great.
Like you, I prefer to avoid the crowds.
Tree roots rising above the asphalt surface must appear quickly when riding a bike. Near impossible to avoid entirely.

I was going to tell you that you haven't been on your bike lately. Good you getting out and 25 km isn't bad.

You have got some stamina.

Good to see them enjoying at least

Tree roots in dappled sunlight are the worst, so hard to see. 40K is a good distance.
