Gallery duty day today, again with another member there to "nanny " me..this time the one who has her studio in a side room to the main gallery.
As ever, cold..but sunny too. I'm gradually learning the ropes, but still not 100% certain of not making mistakes!! Two big sales helped our stats anyway..most people in were families on their Spring school break..not very interested in buying Art!!
Another view of the courtyard, looking in this time...the café is where the row of smaller arches is.
I am finding that 10-4 or 4.30 plus 35 minutes drive each way washes me out for the rest of the evening!!.
I intended to get things ready to print the new block... could I find it?! Only when I stopped looking and it turned up, in the open, where I had been hunting.....
I did some gardening instead, hoed off all the weed seedlings and sowed broad bean seeds after soaking them for an hour or so.
9.10 pm and it is dark....time for bed!

OMG, I should think so. That's a very busy day!
What a view! Good for you, taking this on. A new job is tiring!
Doing something new, learning the ropes (as you say), trying not to make mistakes -- that's enough to wear anyone out by afternoon's end!
With a drive that that it would tire me out too. The courtyard looks quite old.
Hope you will get lots of visitors as Easter break comes up. We are still getting frosts here so I haven't planted much other than potatoes.
Dad always used to say take your eyes off it for a minute and he'll put it back. Not sure who HE was. I prefer the theory that stuff falls through interstices in time.
And when it realises that you are no longer looking for it....it pops up.."hi...I'm still here"...
When you are busy, the day will go quickly, and the hours will fly by.
The courtyard looks historic, and I love the surround.
A pretty place to work. I would be tired too after your day!
That is a very cool courtyard view! It's funny the block turned up just when you stopped looking.
Things are always in the last place that you look! What an amazing outlook.
Hey, at least you found it this year! I just found a camera I "put in a safe place" four years ago -- the last photos were late October 2021. I've looked for ages. Another time I lost a brand new, still in the wrapper madeleine pan in the sofa cushions. (Don't ask). Finding it quickly -- you rock!
I most always find what I am looking for when I simply quit looking for it. I am glad that you had a slow day...it's almost easier to learn when you're not being inundated. At least it is for me.
