Brrrrr!!

I don't appreciate a drop of a good twelve degrees!! But the garden did like a bit of rain.

I feel veritably sluggish now it gas gone cold..although 18 degrees indoors felt hot previously. now it feels decidedly cold!!!

So....not a lot got done today.

Seedlings got put out in light rain for a couple of hours. When it did dry for a while I dis some weeding.

I tried a few things for stamps or sprigs...working on ideas. The leaves didn't work as I'd hoped. I brought some clay from the studio so I'll try and work on more ideas tomorrow.

So not the best of days. I miss having someone here to bounce ideas off...or to tell me Go for it!!

The temps here were similar--18C--but no rain.
I'm sorry your Pirate isn't there to tell you to 'Go for it!' when you could use a wee nudge. x

The pressed plants look good ,maybe the leaves were too thin! How about coating the leaves with a colour ink and stamping them on ,

Definitely too thin. I could use them to make an impression, bisque fire then paint on and wipe off an oxide before glazing

It got cold with driving rain here. Everything is growing and the good thing is that the pine tree pollen is washed away. The morning air is fresh.
The mallard ducks are behind my house and will soon have their young. I suggest considering a print of a mallard duck with a few reeds. It is the season for ducks and birthing.

I'll tell you "go for it." The worst that can happen is it doesn't work out, right? And we've all had that happen and learned from it. I like the leaf idea. A lot.

We're a bit chilly here too! Not cold, but breezy enough that I needed an undershirt today when I was out and about. Very different from the previous week!
