I like that verdigris dog!
That car is adorable. The food looks delicious and it’s making me hungry
I have the same issues with the loading of the photos. I’ve now just add them one at a time. Otherwise I get confused at what photo relates to what part of the blog post.
I’m a simple person and this works for me
More great photos. You are interested a lovely part of France.
Could that insect be a Cercopsis (Froghopper)?
at the moment it isn't happy with me writing after the photos..possibly something to do with blogging with my phone not the tablet....even adding photos one at a time can be difficult
checked that...they have black and yellow longitudinal stripes
Nice photos!
I love the tall pot with handles. Do you make pots like this?
I notice there are no people in your photos. Even the streets and gardens are devoid of people. Did France shut down for the summer?
What IS that little car? Google tells me the bug is a Red-and-black Froghopper (Cercopis vulnerata).
Thankyou 🙂
The big one is a saltglazed food storage pot from La Borne..probably at least 90 years old and could be a lot more. I have made fairly big pots a while ago, and put smaller work in a shared saltglaze kiln nearly 15 years ago.
it is a Citröen Ami...a friendly little beast...probably one of those that you can drive without a licence in France which is limited to 50kph.. Ideal for around town and country lanes but considered a nuisance on main roads due to other drivers' impatience . I don't think that they are allowed on big dual carriageways and certainly not on motorways.
