gardening and woodwork

The front garden is a trifle flowery...

and a little meadowey where I can!

The washing pole was moved out of the way...

ice cream was well deserved...from the ice cream van that comes around from Paisley...

Today's pallet construction...Pirate making my idea...

bread tray rack for sowing and bringing on seedlings

and meanwhile my sourdough bread baking is improving...

Tomorrow, weather permitting we may construct a potting bench/flower pot storage/toolrack.....There are a few pallets just waiting to be used...

I wish I had all your setup there for gardening.

I like your flowery garden. :)

Sourdough bread is my fave. Do you have your own starter? I keep up one for a few years, but let it perish before the big move back to the states.

The bread is lovely and the rest is looking good, too.

If only we were close neighbors, instead of virtual neighbors. Ah, well.

We gain so much from our virtual neighbours, Zhoen...it would be lovely to meet you all "in the round" as Peter the potter from Waikouaiti called it when we did call by..

I've been watching Springwatch and got really keen on being more wildlife friendly which means more flowers. The frames are a great idea.
