Tour of Britain

Excuse the jumbled images... the tablet isn't being 100% cooperative at the moment!! I will be glad to get back to a laptop in a fortnight!!
We went out to the top of Lamdoughty Hill to watch the race at one of the King of the Mountains sprints..stage one was from Glasgow to Kirkcudbright.  For a change it was glorious weather!!
Talking to a friend in a local cycling club who is a farmer, he said he has never seen sheep so dour and miserable at this time of year..they are so wet!!
We have had a friend over from Fife and took him with us .. normally we would all have gone by bike but he is grounded by an old footballing injury..a knee that occasionally dislocates... It's why he changed sports to cycling, forty years ago.

It's good having friends to stay. A change for him and for us.

Those are the bluest skies I've seen you post. Shame about your friend's knee.

I like visitors too, but found it somewhat draining, since I do it so seldom probably. Demanding of attention, I guess.

That does look like amazing weather! Hope the sheep dry out! LOL
