One of my favourite times of year. Full of potential. On a sunny day last week I realised that the yellow gorse flowers were giving out their characteristic coconut-like perfume. And on my bike ride today, on the edge of the heath, I kept getting a whiff of that characteristic wild smell of spring!

Your photos do give a sense of the Brrr... about today. Pretty cold over here too.
I adore the three Highland cow musketeers.

Horsetails! So durable! (The plant, not the actual tail of the animal. :) )
I love the cows and their big horns.
The cows are a lovely sight..
You had a great early spring tour. Spring is very close to "busting "out all over. Lots of buds there just waiting to pop.
((o))
ahh the old gorse bushes but good to see the Spring blooms
But Spring is on the way.
Question: that mound of dirt on the ground? Is that the world of a digging creature?
Looks like spring has sprung over in your part of the world.
