Yesterday started like this...but as we travelled south, by the time we got to England it was decidedly unfriendly weather!
It took a little longer than hoped, what with weather, roadworks and traffic...but a cheap lodge overnight...with owl accompaniment...he going Keewick and shee going hoo oo....(thanks to grandson for informing me)
This morning's view...
With the clouds racing over thanks to storm Debi..the earliest in a year that we have reached D apparently.
Then a cuppa with friends in Oswestry..in a family independent bookshop with café called Booka. And on the other side of the road, a pub...
A nice journey from there over to Machynlleth for lunch...with clear rainbows on the way..then book in at our "cosy cabin"...a posh sleepout!
Followed by supper with daughter and family.
Perfect.
And as I write we have just had thunder then a heavy rain shower....

That pub has a great sign!
Enjoy your trip.
Debi was a very bad girl over here yesterday.
Have a great time. I love the pub sign.
The pub sign is pretty cool. It's nice to see stuff that's not like everything else. In the US it's all the same at every freeway off ramp. Same stores, same appearance, you could be anywhere. Good to see Pirate on a bike.
Sounds like you had a good day, think i'd be happy having coffee in a bookshop too
