French trip May 2026. lost count of days!

I tried to number the days on my posts...but I've lost count! One weekend to go then sadly I have to leave on Monday.

More wandering today, but beginning to focus on shapes and ideas that I can start using.

I came back a little earlier because the weather was turning again...came through a heavy slushy shower in the last 500 metres before my bus stop...then walked home in sunshine! The rain/hail looked like curtains falling from the clouds, but it turned to a fine but chilly evening....eventually!

This is a series of cartoon posters around on empty shops

I had to resist....my bag is full...

That locksmith services business -- is it run by a guy named Peter, by any chance?

What a wonderful time you’re having.
If your bag is full. Do what I did. I sent a package home with lots of bits and bobs in it. I did that a few times during my holiday. One was from Glasgow. I had too. There were too many shops with lots of lovely things to buy

Finally made time to look at your French posts. The time for your holiday seems to have flown. You have done and seen a lot.

I have been enjoying your France posts and all the wonderful photos. I am as sorry as you must be that it is nearly time to leave!

I think that may be more complicated than it used to be, even for small parcels. I know that it is from Britain to France...Brexit ...

I'll have to check that!!

Good prices on those books! I love all the turreted, domed and steepled rooftops. A lot like Vienna in that respect!
