Wet...chilly...inside the gallery anyway (who would build a smiddy (forge/smithy) to be warm?!
A long day with not too many people in...and very few spending!
It was good to have company for a change as the painter who has her studio in a room off the gallery was there today too.
A damp 15 minute walk up to the bus stop
not the best of paths, but the rain hadn't got through the trees to soak it yet!
Now I'm home...the buses coordinated with a minute to spare...the rain is now steadily dripping and I'm considering putting the heating on!! Flamin' July ?!!!!

Turning on the heating really wouldn't hurt—or you could just grab a nice, cozy wool blanket or quilt :-)) We had endless rain followed by a brief heatwave—so intense that tram services in Leipzig were completely halted because the heat caused the joint filler to run into the tracks... lots of volunteers pitched in to help clear up the damage...
Now we have typical summer weather: sunshine alternating with the occasional rain shower.
As a retiree, I can adapt to any kind of weather, but it’s a different story for those who work... we had to cancel our long-planned family reunion because of the transport situation... my daughter is a French and art teacher and has limited availability for scheduling things... so we usually end up driving to visit her.
P.S. The first picture in my blog post is by her... it’s from her exhibition—a small one in Leipzig.

The green in your photos is lovely.
At least you're getting some moisture! It's cool-ish here but we're a long way from needing heat.
