After more than a morning of sorting...a bike ride!
I took the bike in the car to Greenan Shire and rode up the NCR 7 which goes up the prom by the Clyde...saw the Blackstone Clydesdales being prepared on my way up....slowly through past Ayr as the beach was busy and along the prom at Prestwick to Mancinis....for a cherry Gelato!
Another cyclist was there having just finished his ride. We had a few local friends in common, but he wasn't a club member now just goes out with an informal group of blokes. Isn't that how many cycling clubs started?! A nice half hour chat anyway...and retrace steps in time to see the Clydesdales at canter! An awesome sight, but I wasn't quick enough to get a photo!!
Ayr Harbour
On the lang scots mile...(it is longer than the English one)
Tbe view from Prestwick to Aran
A lovely sight...and sound!!

Some lovely scenery in here, I do always love being at a beach, cherries are my favourite fruit too, have a nice week.
Sounds like a good day out.
I do love to see Clydesdales! Or any heavy horse, really.
One of the last places I visited before leaving UK - sans Clydesdales. They look magnificent but did they arrive by tractor and their grooms by bike?
It looks blissfully cool and calm there.
Spending time near the sea on a warm hazy day sounds lovely. The Clydesdales on the beach makes a great view.
They come from near Cumnock, so about 20 miles on busy roads
from the beach. I suppose two could have come by the tractor.
You can pay to have a beach ride..so the horses get exercise and income. Not like the old donkey rides on the beach though
What a lovely day. Grand seeing the Clydesdales too. I rather like the sound of that cherry gelato . . .
