Day Out. for a change!

 At the National Museum of Rural Life near East Kilbride..

 We just missed the falconry display..and he was quickly putting the birds in their boxes .....

 they were getting interested in an unconnected occurrence...some large bird being seen off.....

and on to the next one,where I've paused...not sure how to do the hillside..I'm happy with the burn tumbling down.
Using this new tool is almost like drawing with a knife.

Gardening work

We're back mowing lawns and tidying gardens... the money comes in handy,but it takes up time where we need to be doing other things, Also our mowers are showing their age!

However there are gardens where we'd work for free (if he'd let us!!)

We need to be working in our own garden....and having good neighbours round

We were just outside Forfar on Sunday..watching a race...and saw this

Before the rain...

Cutting a lawn that had been so wet last year, that it had been still too wet until we had a dry May...

One way to bring on two hours of heavy rain with Thunder and Lightning as a sideshow....

Sadness ?

Pirate's mate who went to Oz with him for a month has been dumped by his Aussie girlfriend.

Two single parents (although his are now dependent adults) who've turned each others lives upside-down.

  But perhaps that was the point...now they can move with their eyes open and think of themselves for a change..just nearer to home.

I just hope he will...he deserves someone good. He needs to think of himself for a change....
