a day alone

The weather is almost Summery here today.

Look, shadows!

and more...

The sun is picking out the colours on the slopes of Mynydd y Llan

but that  light does show that there is rain in the offing.

I'm reading others writing of rain and gales , looking at the forecast and thinking "not again"...I could do with a week of this, not a weekend!!

The kiln is gaining temperature well, not too fast as it is a well packed bisque and I want it fired evenly.
With luck I'll have light enough for a good walk when it is done.

I'd love to have company to go up the mountain again, but it looks like I'll be by myself, just like the rest of this busy Springcleaning day.

I had to smile at your excitement over shadows. We just had almost a week of rain and I wish it would continue. I guess it's all in where you live...

We've just had a month and a half of rain....and the plants are not growing due to low light levels. Everything has speeded up this weekend!

What a beautiful area! I would love to be there right now, taking a nice relaxing walk.

Im looking forward to the lushness this rain will eventually bring!
Fingers crossed we get more sun soon.

The mountain sure looks lovely, lushly green and Springlike. And shadows do suggest more than a hint of sunshine! J is still over in W Wales where the weather has apparently been pretty good this weekend! Here, our neighbours have decided to try a BBQ this evening though the temp is barely 6 degrees. Must be mad, I'd say.

We've had the most lovely day, and sun and shadows are part of it.

Alone, but we'll come with you in thought.

Beautiful shadows.......
We are very much needing the rain as have been watering here since April. Last year we were almost washed away with so much rain......... And so it goes. Enjoy your time alone :)
