Evening stroll

the Waitohi stream which gives Picton it's original name.  Wai means water.

It's good to see original place names being used.

Pirate found some art in the gents' toilet...

And back "home" as dusk fell and the moon rose.

Our neighbour in the morning was pondering upon his route..Molesworth is closed, the unsealed track having had weather damage..so unpassable even with a three wheel drive motorbike....

We had all enjoyed a good night there.. comfortable but simple...the oldest campground in town, in old simple Kiwi style and all the better for that. Long may it survive.

Great trip by the sounds of things. And a cool motorbike

The rider was pretty cool too..he had long blonde hair..not a bottle blonde either, a pink Alice band, pink nail varnish on all 20 nails, black bike leather trousers, and the sleeves of the black top that went under the leather jacket had black voile sleeves...I think you would call him/her womanly not girly...and a lovely person.

I like the carvings on the wooden pole.

the tractor brings back good memories but the one we had wasn't pink. They were originally gray.
