Garden progress?

We actually had some sunshine today..and wind...and rain....and by the weekend it could be -3⁰C ...

No getting on with gardening then....but...

I have got the site for the new compost bins ready!

The stack of pallets needs to come away from the kiln shed, so better than just moving them, we will use them!!

First step is to strengthen the fence post...or rather put a second one in front and nail them together. The site doesn't need much attention, so just let's get on with it!!

However, rain stopped play..we see a friend on his smallholding tomorrow, so hopefully we can buy a couple of stobs from him ( fence posts)

That's not the kind of weather to be out working in the yard.

I have never heard of stobs.

'Rain stopped play' could be the motto for UK.

yep rain is slowing things down here, today was 'potatoe day' but it's too wet and muddy on the allotment for planting.

Thank you for stopping by my blog from Weave's blog... and leaving such a nice comment! Spring has been in Texas for awhile now.. We moved into our home 1 1/2 years ago and are just now tackling the bare dirt yard.... we've started putting up fence posts and i'm battling the weeds. We plan on putting in some raised beds eventually.. hopefully... but for now its me and weeds...lol Hugs! deb
