Afternoon out at the European Championships

 We just went to the track cycling, but this year other sports are having their European championships at the same time and place..a good idea!

 seeing acquaintances from afar..a top rider,now coaching.
Then a 1.5 mile  walk in to the Merchant Quarter of Glasgow

 and a wander around Glasgow Green, with stands from all sorts of groups doing things in the community...plus the food !!

 The Peoples' Palace and the Winter Gardens..worth a post on their own!

 and on the way back, the bookmakers....I wonder if this is where they started?
