Very windy indeed!
I hibernated until 9am, listen to the rain being whipped against the windows.
But then we had a brief respite before it ramped up again..by this evening the gusts are almost 60mph..a little less than forecast, thankfully.
I spent a good three hours after breakfast doing an amount of Ancestry research for our French based friend ...good to get back into the routine before getting on with Pirate's tree.
Then half an hour on the turbo...no way was I going out!!
And the winter quilt has been added...
I made that a very long time ago!!
And last night I was so busy messaging with friends I forgot to hit publish!!

Glad to see you have not been blown away!
I love that quilt. It is beautiful.
Winds here not too bad too (but then we're a good bit inland from the coast). I imagine it was a good bit rougher on the front at Aber.
Ah, geometric quilt - nicely done. I bet you were snug under that.
Your quilt is lovely. I do like getting out and walking as exercise and just to get out, but also am fortunate to have a fitness centre a few minutes away that I can go to if the weather is bad. They have a good seniors rate. It has been very windy here, and the beautiful fall leaves are being blown away. Jean in Winnipeg
Yes, very snug..it has an Army surplus wool blanket as wadding...it is named Melinau Môn...after all the mills that used to be on Anglesey...the four winds are quilted on the corners and the waves on each border
I like your winter quilt. Looks very dramatic!
I stocked up on Aldi Scotch whisky and slept like a log through the gale. It always works for me.
