Back on my bike

I did it.... rode down to the Burns Experience Café to meet friends....it took me an hour for the nine miles including walking up three hills, but that was preferable to following the main roads.

There were five there already and after a cuppa and chatting...and recovering...they took me a different way home to give themselves a longer ride and escorted me until I had three miles left.

I didn't walk any hills.... until the last steep one from the local mill up into our village!!

Ah yes, the dreaded walking up the hill. Our ride here in Spokane has a really steep bit, which we are both viewing with trepidation as to whether or not we'll get up it. Last winter's riding was all flat, now we've switched to glaciated hills.

9 miles biking is a good distance. I like your bike with gears for all kinds of roads.
