I went with a friend to see another...and met these two as well!
This is in the hills West of Llanidloes, looking North...
Unfortunately only one other friend joined us in a day of tea, cake, knitting , discussing pricing and putting the world to rights!! Others were delayed by too much work, and "sheep in goats' clothing"...escaping from their field!!
It was a lovely day out, of sunshine and showers and a total of five hours plus driving albeit through lovely scenery. I revisited a road I hadn't ventured on for nearly forty years!!!
All this AND I sold a pot!!
Though one does come down to earth with a bump, when you end up going shopping then making supper and doing two day's worth of washing up the following morning.....

anyone notice that blogger is loading pictures in random order now?!
Hi again. Just back from SE England & London where weather was useless! Been windy here though and some more rainfall. All good for the garden we leave behind on Sunday/Monday for Spain! Sure looks lovely in the Principality right now, lush and verdant. We used to keep goats - Anglo Nubians - remarkable escapologists! Even the Welsh hill sheep that had damaged the drystone walls in their climbing outings had nothing on them!
Yes to the blogger/photo thing, but there seems to be some maintenance going on as not many bloggers were able to post pictures yesterday.
Sounds like a good day out x
Love days like that but it is always a crash landing in the laundry!
love the pig pals!
Sounds wonderful! (not the washing bit) x
golly, I ADORE pigs :)
Spending time with friends is my favorite. You had what I would call a perfect day out.
Gary's right, pigs are adorable, and those in particular. Lovely photos, and good news about your day out and the sale of a pot! (I've put a non lithium iron red recipe on my blog for you in my reply to your comment. It has worked well for me in the past, but will need the hottest part of your kiln to develop its colour).
Peter, Thankyou!
