home

Garden salad- Little Gem lettuce, baby spinach, spring onions, peas and marjoram (ok,oregano!)
and fresh strawberries for after.
kitchen view, and a trolley full of pots with waxed bottoms. I think I've got the consistency right, so I spent a couple of hours doing ALL the bisque pots!!
Makeshift table, on top of the Saviac kickwheel. As I type, The Carpenter is working on reducing the heap of Useful Bits of Car, by removing what is useable from a redundant car door!! More scrap to make some money!
The New Shed...cladding and A frames...The wooden framework has been dismantled and is sitting on the bailey, waiting for nail removal and cutting into the right sizes for the new frame.
Unfortunately the frames and sheets need shifting so that I can get a new gas bottle in place....fortunately I've still got one two thirds full already. I'd prefer two to finish a glaze firing though, seems to give it a bit more "oomph" when you need it at the end, plus the confidence of knowing that you're not about to run out...!!
Looking in at the sofa in the living room from the bailey....strange not to see Col sitting there waiting for me, waiting to pass comment on a new shape, or waiting to go up the mountain.
This morning's first job...Lime with Lemon Cordial.
Now for a late lunch while I wait for the inside glazing to dry!

lovely view from your kitchen!
All those beautiful pots, they look all snowy and perfect, what a sense of achievement.

Waxy bottoms. An amusing phrase.
