rain stopped play

It has been raining steadily all night and hasn't stopped yet..this is forecast to stay until Monday lunchtime, then back again Wednesday lunchtime. We're down to 12 degrees C, and I've put the central heating on to air the house a little (plus wearing an extra layer!)

Washing Tuesday then!!

No outdoor gardening today, but there is potting up to be done in the greenhouse.

It's a bit coldish here, too, with light rain threatening. More rain forecast for the coming week - maybe get away without watering for a bit!

We've resorted to lighting the fire coz the washing sadly won't wait til tuesday. It does however make us stay and do house things like homework and such like - might try outside later and do some greenhouse stuff.

postponed the greenhouse work...it is too cold to sit and pot up, even in a greenhouse!!

Yeah, we have also postponed all work out in the greenhouse, you're right -too cold besides we are now making scarecrows for the village garden festival and catching up with belated homework!
