Cat

I'm a bird, honest...
Or a tightrope walker...
Busy thinking...
I've washed my hair and can't do ANYTHING with it!!

Teigar has managed to get fleas, who knows where from. They have hitched a ride on someone and made their home on her. So she has been to see the vet, been treated and had her claws trimmed ,bathed (with Cat Shampoo!) and had her medicine placed on her neck where she can't reach it!

She isn't 100% happy, but she is scratching and cleaning less!

We've been cleaning the house even more. It always needs it, whatever you do!!

What a honey of a face! is she very old? She looks like a cat I once had named Arizona...the sweetest cat you ever knew! Instead of bringing in birds and mice, she brought in old banana skins from the compost pile!

I would like to have Teigar guest on one of my Caturday posts -- I'm featuring pix of the cats in my blogsphere.

WOL, fame for Teigar!!

Kerry she was born in early 1998, so she is only 13 years old. She was a kit born to a Blaenau Ffestiniog stray of similar colouring-tabby with ginger bits, and a wandering grey tom, possibly a Burmese.
Her brother was a grey tabby . Llew(Lion) went a wandering from the smallholding in Pembrokeshire where they went to stay when we couldn't have cats in our rented house.

We are, sadly, a cat-free household at the moment and I do miss a furry little presence around. So, hopefully come autumn when kittens start to appear again, we will go and find ourselves our own little flea catcher! Can't wait!

Fleas.....a normal summery Cat thing. Not much to do about it, save for the dreaded Frontline on a regular basis, I suppose. Our problem is more with sodding Ticks down here! AND, of course, whatever Charlie manages to pick up usually finds itself onto Jack, too!

This time she has had the vet's Frontline- effective-and is also Frontline combo...which means I don't have to fumigate everywhere she sits, just give things a Hot wash.

Hello ~ thank you for finding me! Hillside Cottage seems to be a very good portal place. I shall wave to you next time I'm up at Dunkery Beacon...
