We're harvesting rosehips , hawthorns and rowanberries at present, and will start on the sloes very soon.
The main problem is finding time (and weather!) to get out there!!
We're even finding it a job to get time to ride our bikes!!!
A statistic to feel heartened...just seen a newspaper article, saying that deaths from prostate cancer in Scotland have reduced from 29 in 100,000 in the early 1990s to 24 in 100,000 cases of the problem.

My work colleague was diagnosed with prostate cancer some five years ago.
I saw him at the beginning of october, he responded well to treatment, looks well, and says he feels ten years younger than when he took early retirement five years back.
I wish you both all the very best, and many years of happiness to come.
