getting help

Yes, I went to the doctor..at last you might say!
Much talking, and more talking prescribed with mutual friends to Col and myself. Help myself in helping others.

Also sorting my innerds, to make sure I don't lose any more weight! I'm eating more easily now, so I've made a start, now to build on it...without gaining weight I don't need!!

If only getting inspiration on what to cook was so easy!
It was a nice walk there and back which made me feel better, and the weather has stayed dry all day, if a little overcast later in the afternoon.

Luckily I checked my emails on returning home this morning...an Etsy sale!!!
Thankyou, Cranky Crone :D

More finishing bigger bowls this afternoon, and throwing half a dozen lidded soap dishes...could be called footed boxes!! More 1.5 kg bowls and bigger are planned and I need to practise drawing again to get my sgraffito decoration right.

Its totally my pleasure, I love your designs, wish I could afford more.

Im glad you paid a visit to the doctor, its still very soon in the matter of grieving, you cannot expect too much too soon, stages insist on being got through, one way or another....but there you are we all can only do what we can do, in the way we can deal with it......mmmmm Looking forward to drinking your good health with a mug of tea.

All sounds pretty normal. Food is very emotional, social.

part of it is being reassured that, yes, it hurts, but yes, it is normal.

Glad that you were able to get to the doctor, sounds like they offered some sensible advice. I was at a fairly "low" point last year and a combination of things finally ensured that I had a long talk with one of our practice nurses, who really "took me in hand", and saw me regularly. In my case I needed to lose some weight and have regular exercise as I was not coping with stress, working really silly hours, and neglecting myself.
I was really impressed with the kind support and practical help that I received, and do so hope that you find that level of help and encouragement too. Good news about the Etsy Sale!

May you have many more days like that, with little sparks of hope and positivity. Look forward to seeing the new work.

Fantastic GZ! Help is wonderful along the way.

as for cooking inspiration ..........
just google potatoes or what ever you have in the cupboard and a host of recipes will appear! I have found myself cooking a week of meals on Sunday and sticking a big bowl of greens and salad in the fridge. The greens out of the garden are so fresh when, washed and stored between two damp linens in a big bowl....... last 10 days easily.

Must say reading everyone's comments are a wakeup call to care for self a bit better.... thank you!
Be well and centered ............
