Back in Aber

A nice early start today after another stormy night....with nice fresh views from where we stayed..

Then back up to Aberystwyth to drop my daughter at work for a few hours while I had a walk around town, just browsing, watched the sea then walked back up the path to her work...finding windfall apples and bullaces by the path!!

Then back for lunch and gardening

Love a stormy beach.
We are currently working on a painting of one. I hope I do it justice

What a cute kitty! Those apartments(?) along the beachfront speak so loudly to me of England.

These were built for Victorian tourists..and are now mainly student residences and bed and breakfast hotels

How were the windfall apples? Not too early for eating?

These look quite a small firm apple..I think they will either be used in a jelly to assist setting or just being mixed in with the rest when juicing

That sea looks quite fierce!!!!! I'm glad you're having such a nice time with your family.

Lovely shots of the ocean and beach-side buildings! Love your entrance-way fascinating shots too!

Nice to see those blue skies!

The sea is quite rough and the surf looks filled with white caps.
Beautiful views and great for walking. You have the entire beach for yourself. I love an isolated beach.

Oh, I missed you by a day. I was there today to meet up with Ruta (who follows my blog) and give her the chair she'd bought from me. Then off to Crown to get paint mixed and then off to Tam's allotment in the town. Ah well, waving to you anyway!

I stayed in Aberystwyth recently - one of my favourite towns; like a Welsh version of Kathmandu - ha ha.
