First we saw the tapestry about the last "invasion" in 1797...I had seen it in 1997 when I came down from Garn Dolbenmaen on the bus with daughter to stay with my friends not long after we ejected their father...then it was on the ground floor of the town hall. Now it is on the first floor with the library and a small art gallery..and the lift was being mended... daughter managed the stairs, slowly...she can't walk far.
Then we went past the theatre in Abergwaun, over to Gwdig where the ferry to Ireland leaves from and up to Strumble Head, going around many of the significant places from 1797
Across the valley to see a gallery of West Wales Art. I was pleasantly surprised to recognise a few names...and looking at the prices it is time I prepared some of my work for sale!!
Back up to our friends where I was left while family went to see a Dolmen at Pentre Ifan, and I had a long catch up natter with my friend...we won't be leaving it such a long time again!

I have Welsh background but never been there. It looks lovely. And about your own art -- yes! You must! It sounds like a good visit.
Ah Fishguard - ages since I was last there. You are definitely in my neck of the woods.
